Center Director
Organizational link:
The Center Director reports directly to the Vice President of the University.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the administrative and technical operations within the center and its constituent units, ensuring efficient execution and follow-up on all tasks.
- Lead the recruitment of qualified personnel for the center, in close coordination with the relevant university departments.
- Identify the training needs of the center's staff and collaborate with the university’s relevant departments to address these requirements.
- Determine the need for specialized tools and technical resources, coordinating with the appropriate university units to ensure timely provision.
- Strive to enhance the overall performance and productivity of the center's operations and staff.
- Facilitate the transition from paper-based processes to digital systems, ensuring the effective implementation of electronic archiving and digitization initiatives.
- Develop and propose developmental plans for the center’s activities, seeking approval from the University Director.
- Foster the exchange of knowledge, information, and best practices with the National Center for Documents and Archives.
- Monitor staff attendance and performance within the center, ensuring that all required reports are completed in collaboration with the heads of the center’s units.
- Perform any additional duties assigned within the scope of the center's responsibilities.
